Video transcript

All right, day two is officially in the books. Before I jump into a recap, I want to take a quick moment to do something I'm calling, "Segments legal wouldn't let me do."

Up first, AI Object, a courtroom parody where I preside as the honorable judge and AI stands trial for misclassifying brands who fail to get their AEO right. I don't know. I still think we should have done this. This was the role I was born to play.

Oh, and then there was two truths and a hallucination. This was just me reading two facts about a brand and one thing AI completely made up. We tested it with a certain large entertainment company that is very familiar with intellectual property law and, oh, yeah, you know what? I can actually see why legal killed this one.

Ooh, and then there was AEO Karaoke. And honestly, I don't even know what I meant by that. But I'm glad I spared you all my singing voice.

Okay, so forget what we didn't do. Here are three takeaways from all the things we did bring you today. First, the shift from SEO to AEO isn't an algorithm update. It's a structural change in how people find information. We heard that loud and clear in my conversation with Vivian and Cat. Second, the gap between what leaders think and what their teams are doing is real. We saw it in the data, and we heard it at the roundtable. Third, this isn't just for companies with big budgets. It's about anyone with a website and a brand narrative.

I don't know about you, but this may be the first time I've binge watched something and actually felt good about myself after. Tomorrow we go from history to present tense, and then the whole week culminates in the world premiere of our documentary short "Own your narrative." If today got you thinking, that's going to make you act. There's even more to come tomorrow on Flow TV, including another roundtable debate with the people who actually have to implement these strategies. So be sure to tune in.
